Torn - Natalie Imbruglia

PuppyMonkey · 05/09/2020 12:14

Or maybe Rio.

MellowBird85 · 05/09/2020 12:16

@workhomesleeprepeat

Omg I cannot believe not a single person has mentioned Untitled by D’Angelo. Prob the sexiest video of all time!!

I was slightly pre-pubescent at the time, had little crushes and say cute boys in music videos, but D’Angelo really pushed me over the edge haha

You beat me to it!

Jesus Christ he is just utterly divine in that video.

Mellonsprite · 05/09/2020 12:16

liverbird10 & @HelplessProcrastinator

Me too, I was 9 when take on me was out, and loved his cheekbones, leather bracelets & hair. I’m still a massive a-ha fan and have seen them live over the last 20 years.

AlCalavicci · 05/09/2020 12:18

Another Adam Ant fan here so I will just leave this here for you all to drool over

Good lord them eyes [blush ]
JudyGemstone · 05/09/2020 12:25

Justify my Love - Madonna

Sexy boys and girls and queerness and kink.

A-Ha are/were an amazing band!

Also any rap/hip hop video with young lads with no tops on Blush

joell75 · 05/09/2020 12:26

@lioncitygirl - he's on another level entirely.

Mine was Brother Beyond - The Harder I Try.

AlCalavicci · 05/09/2020 12:27

oh and Doller David Van Day was hot !

AgeLikeWine · 05/09/2020 12:28

Rio by Duran Duran. Pretty boys in pastel designer suits on a racing yacht seemed impossibly glamorous when viewed on the telly in our council house. John Taylor was just ridiculously hot, and a genius bass player, too.

RiseoftheSeahorse · 05/09/2020 12:28

In Demand by Texas. I’m fully convinced that video only came about because Sharleen Spiteri wanted to spend hours cuddling/ rubbing up against Alan Rickman. And who can blame her?

It sounds so weird on paper- “so we’ll spend the entire video cuddling in a car apart from one scene where we inexplicably tango in a Shell forecourt”- but it certainly works Blush

Spied · 05/09/2020 12:29

Babe - Mark Owen.

JudyGemstone · 05/09/2020 12:32

@Smallsteps88

I have so much to do today and really all I want to do is lie in bed and watch all these music videos on YouTube! Grin
That's extents I'm now doing!

Starting with D'Angelo 😛

HappyTuesdays · 05/09/2020 12:32

Billy Idol in White Wedding gave me thoughts.

DobbyLovesSocks · 05/09/2020 12:37

Madonna - Like a Prayer. It was the line 'Down on my knees, I wanna take you there'
Later on it was Boyzone

I was 13. I came across a picture of him the other day and still felt a little jolt Grin

JudyGemstone · 05/09/2020 12:38
  • exactly what I'm now doing. Got a bit over excited!
Coldwinterahead1 · 05/09/2020 12:38

Wicked Game -Chris Issacs, I honestly don’t think a woman could get more beautiful than Helena in that video. She’s a goddess

TheySeeHerRowling · 05/09/2020 12:39

By the way, I take it all the Antfans have seen the video to Desperate But Not Serious

You're welcome Wink

God, yes. I cried when he performed it on 'Pointless' a while ago. Sentimental tears, not frightened/disgusted ones. For the avoidance of doubt.

I loved 'Buddy's Song', although it wasn't a great film, obvs. But the cast! Daltrey; Elphick; Duce. Lee Ross and Julia Sawalha. There were a few years in the late 80s/early 90s where either Sadie Frost or Liza Walker played 'Sultry Sixth Former' in just about every UK YA tv series or film. Good times.

Namechange8471 · 05/09/2020 12:58

Westlife - particularly ‘My love’
I was born 1990

wetwiped · 05/09/2020 13:10

Bruce Springsteen Dancing in the Dark...just tight enough jeans and rolled up shirt sleeves

Toilenstripes · 05/09/2020 13:16

Roxy Music “Slave to Love”

Florial · 05/09/2020 13:19

I remember seeing Japan on Top of the Pops singing Quiet Life and thinking
David Sylvian was the most breathtakingly beautiful person I'd ever seen.

bottlenose301 · 05/09/2020 13:21

Not great in hindsight but R Kelly Your Body's Calling me and Bumo n Grind. Actually his whole 12 Play album.

Also Joe - all the things your man won't do and Silk - Freak me.

Special mention for Blackstreet - Don't leave. ( don't really know why !)
