To keep these flowers?

Got home to some flowers in a box on my doorstep. Correct address but not addressed to me. There is only a first name. I have no idea who they are for. I've emailed the company but had no reply and knocked on a few doors but no luck.

Seranta are terrible, sent my mum done flowers in the past, they did not look like the website and the customer service was non existent

MyUserName77 · 01/09/2020 21:53

Yep, also had terrible flowers from that company. Paid for an 'upgrade' for a supposedly luxury bouquet, what arrived looked literally like a £5 bunch of supermarket crap. I think they cost me well over £50. I complained and got a partial refund but I won't use the company again.
Seriously, you are better picking flowers yourself from M&S or similar.

AbyssusAbyssumInvocat · 01/09/2020 22:05

Are you secretly having a sordid relationship and using secret names? How exciting!

It would be rude to throw them away and you can't find the rightful owner so what's a girl to do! Keep them and don't feel bad about it. They do look a bit shit tho.

Toddlerteaplease · 01/09/2020 22:29

If I'm sending flowers I use Bloom &Wild or M&S. they are fantastic.

And Sainsbury's have lovely bouquets!

I’ve had disastrous flowers from Bloom & Wild.

Foxes157 · 01/09/2020 22:57

I came home to a random delivery from next, my address but no name.

Opened them a card with a name, not recognised. It was a house 200 yards up the road.

Didn't get to keep the flowers but I got £10 voucher for delivering them.

PurpleFlower1983 · 01/09/2020 22:57

I’ve had mixed from Bloom & Wild, some were gorgeous others were awful! In store in Sainsbury’s or Waitrose are the best!

ilikebooksandplants · 01/09/2020 23:00

There’s barely any flowers there, just a load of greenery.
They’re crap. You’re doing someone a favour keeping them.

I had some from the same company from my sister and they were half dead when they arrived and never perked up. I didn't send my sister a photo as I thought she'd be really upset by them. Reading reviews of the company I think that not delivering or getting deliveries wrong is par for the course.

FirstOfficerDouglas · 02/09/2020 08:23

Waitrose or M and S have always been good for me.

CousinDolores · 02/09/2020 08:51

that bunch looks like it's missing two or three main accent flowers - I'd be a bit swizzed if I'd sent that.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/09/2020 12:05

They are looking slightly better this morning, but can't tell if it's because I have turned the vase round. But still not great!
