If you'd had an arguement and you were upset sat downstairs in tears would your partner just sit upstairs after calling you a prick and a fucking joke! Quite happily sat up there watching football on his phone !

Ex would definitely do this, then just get up the next morning and act as if nothing had happened. Don’t put up with it, totally callous and cold hearted.

Not nice at all and in my opinion not at all acceptable. My husband has never done this but in the throes of a heated argument I suppose people say and do all sorts that they do not really mean .. and maybe him not approaching you to console you is due to him still being angry? Is this a regular occurrence? Does he constantly demean and disrespect you? What is your relationship like generally? How does it feel to be in a relationship with him? Think about the answers to these questions and I think you will know what to do xx
