Does anyone else have a semi permanent headache

I have had blood tests, they are clear. I’ve had urine tests clear.

I just have an almost permanent pain in my head every day. I take pills and it goes. But next day wake up same thing.

The doctor I can’t get hold of, I’ve left messages with the surgery. Not today but in the week. I’m worried I’m taking too many pills and that is giving me a headache but don’t know what else to do.

Exclude histamine intolerance by checking if you have any of the other symptoms.

I have very tight muscles around back of head, and jaw. Feels like a headache. Turns out I have a bulging disc in my neck. Good luck getting an answer, and trust your own knowledge of your body.

I've had what you describe for about 6 months or so - pills had some sort of effect but I would always wake up and it would be back.

Changed my pillows about 2 weeks ago and it's now so much better. I sleep on my side so got a higher pillow to support my head and neck better.

Reading with interest because I suffer fairly regularly with headaches and have had one all day. I only wake up with them rarely but did today. Been to doctors about it a bit, first time totally useless second time was given a prescription but I am still getting headaches so it hasn't solved it.

I had a daily headache - really painful and miserable. I then saw my dentist for an annual check up and they spotted signs that I ground my teeth n my sleep. I had no idea!

What I was actually doing was kind of slightly clenching my jaw and slightly pushing my lower jaw forward. I caught myself doing it one night when I was half-asleep. I stopped doing that and the pain eased in a few days. Bliss!

It was only a small ‘mis-movement’ of my jaw but it had a huge effect.

Have had similar constant headaches in past with jaw pain. I always thought it was to do with my teeth but a few years ago I realised it was actually sinus problems. I find antihistamines help ease the symptoms when they appear.

Have you been tested for anemia? How's your vit D?

Both of those things being low can cause headaches.
