Following the “To be surprised to see "bought a house" listed as an achievement on a cv” thread, I loved some of the suggestions about what else could be included, as in “opened a jar” .. Smile

On mine I could have:
Untangled the Christmas tree lights (problem solving, patience)
Rescued a bee at the kitchen window (conservation, social responsibility)

I can't believe how many people seem to think "buying a house" is ok on a cv tbh😂

Mine would be:
Figured out the perfect combination of windows to open so clothes hanged in the hallway dry really fast😂

Untangled a big piece of knotted string (only to find it wasn't long for my requirements and so I threw it away.)

HearingMyOwnVoice · 24/08/2020 10:52

I'm fantastic at untangling necklaces.

Twigaletta · 24/08/2020 10:54

I'm great at undoing knots in necklaces and generally untangling them too!

Reading upside down (so when you interview me I'll know what you're writing about me!)

Managing to release a toy car from a child's hair without resorting to scissors

I see a lot of CVs, and have yet to see ‘bought a house’ on one. At least ‘opened a jar’ would spark interest, and indicate a sense of humour! I should put Finder of dog poo hidden in strange places in the garden, Cat de-tangler (hairy monster who won’t let anyone else do it), Bedding changer (apparently everyone else thinks fairies do it..) on mine!
