Best tumble-dry proof kids clothes?

Posting for traffic.

I'm doing an overhaul of DCs drawers. Trying to create a bit of a capsule wardrobe for ease when we're in a rush (which is always).
I have 2 boys one toddler one school age, toddler seems to be a master at creating holes at the knees in all pairs of his joggers.

I'd love recommendations for nice and affordable boys clothes that are tumble dryer proof as we rely on it in the winter months. I've been burnt before where I bought some clothes for them only for it to either shrink about 2 sizes after a tumble dry even though the tag said its perfectly fine for the dryer (I'm looking at you Next) or clothes, especially joggers that end up bobbly or sad looking after a couple of washes.

Could anyone recommend reliable brands?

Polarn o Pyret were pretty good when my dc were little (they are 8 and 11 now). Pricey though. I was never too concerned about bobbles or holes in the knees though. Lands End Kids too.

Sainsbury's Sainsbury's Sainsbury's!!

Asda stuff faded, shrank and went bobbly, never again.

DS is VERY hard on his clothes/shoes and ive used Sainsbury's for all his clothing since he was born. Can't rate it enough

I kit my kids completely in next, forks and bits of multiple ages. I don't own a washing line. It's tumble dryer in all weathers Blush

Most clothes for children from The Gap tumble dry

M&S school joggers seem to hold up well so I’ll nominate them for joggers generally.

100% Cotton will generally hold up better than anything mixed.

H&M cotton stuff holds up ok considering its low price. (Not the tights but guessing you don’t need those!)

Vertbaudet do tough trousers.

Anything under armour drys great in the drier and I buy it all online and it not overly expensive.

M&S is pretty good, as is Boden. Kids uniform is from M&S as I found this washed and dried well for the last couple of years. The best joggers I have found for DS are actually from Matalan. They wash and tumble dry well and are nice and thick and suit his slim frame which I have struggled with in the past.
Anything from Tesco is worse than useless as I wash clothes before wear due to eczema and they have gone straight in the charity bag as they shrink so much. We also had issues with incorrect sizing, but apparently that isn't a 'fault'. I haven't bought anything there for years due to the above.
I think Tu is really poor for boys past toddler stage. Morrisons has been alright, but again not so good past toddler stage.

Thanks all I'll have a look at Tu and Matalan! TBH Matalan is never one I've really considered so might be worth a look.

It's mostly joggers and casual comfortable trousers that we need and maybe a couple of nicer long sleeve tops. Don't like super bright neon colours so hoping for some neutrals or calmer tones.
