Looking at the recipes and science behind it? Or this is a trigger for eating disorders??

I'm in my 4th week of it and have lost a stone! It's really good after first few days. I've low carbed before so it wasn't too much of a shock, depends what your current diet is like as to how hard it will be to get started, but it's an excellent way to reset bad habits and eat tasty food (albeit not very much of it!) If you read the book and do it with the right attitude considering health as well as appearance then it's not faddy or disordered (although if you do have an existing history of restrictive eating disorders it is not recommended)

When you ask if it’s a trigger for eating disorders are you asking because you have/have had an eating disorder? If you have then stay well clear of anything restrictive. If you haven’t then I still don’t think anything this restrictive should be followed without speaking to your doctor first. 800 calories is less than what the average toddler needs to eat so it’s not something any adult should be following with no medical need.

800 calories is ridiculous. Look at team rh on Facebook and you can lose the weight on way more calories than that. I think 800 calories even for one day would make me ill, I need more like 2000 to be healthy.
Even if you are burning fat for energy it's hard to see how you'd meet your micronutrient needs and get enough carbs/fats/protein/fibre etc to keep your body running normally.
