For me it was probably The Famous 5 series, I love adventure!

Last time I looked, Summer Birds and Emma in Winter (the two other books with Charlotte Sometimes) were difficult to find and expensive when you did...

Tom’s Midnight Garden and Wind in the Willows were my two top favourites. I really wanted to be in these books.

Was also huge CS lewis fan, except The Horse and his Boy which I remember finding v dull.

And Norgy in Littleland - I really wanted to shrink and live in a miniature village.
