AIBU to think that horses eat apples?

I have 3 huge apple trees straining with with weight of a million apples at the moment.
Would it be weird if me to offer them to the many horsey people here to feed to their horses?
The apples are big and are eating apples but they don’t have perfect skin and have Small dark patches (this doesn’t affect the actual eatability of the apple for humans they just look a bit ugly).
I just have too many.
Would horses eat them?

Hawkes cider has been advertising
Send us your apples & they will send you some cans of cider in return

See their website for instructions

I'd happily take a bag to chunk for crumbles etc even though they're eating apples, just cook less long and don't add sugar.

Offer to the stables, some'll be fed to the horses and some'll be eaten by the workers I'm sure.

Brewdog take apple donations and turns it into cider for charity. Maybe try them.

If I were near you I'd love a bucketfull for my two ponies. They can't have loads in one go but apples last for ages.
