Not AIBU but Simon Calder has said that an announcement will be made this eve re France, Malta and the Netherlands

Just that really. He has just said that an announcement will be made within the next couple of hours. He didn't know how much notice will be given regarding travelling back to the UK but said that The Netherlands, France and Malta will be added to the list of countries which will require you to be quarantined for 14 days on rtn.

The Netherlands, Aruba, Malta, Turks and Caicos Islands, France and Monaco have been removed from the exemptions list to the Global Travel Advisory based on the current assessment of COVID-19 risks. The Netherlands, Aruba, Malta, Turks and Caicos Islands, France and Monaco are no longer exempt from the FCO advice against all non-essential international travel. The FCO advises against all but essential travel to The Netherlands, Aruba, Malta, Turks and Caicos Islands, France and Monaco.
