Theres no way they've got the time to ballot and get a mandate to strike within the next few weeks, so wont happen for the start of the year

Then we don't need to worry about masks in schools either.

Bad luck, Nick Gibb, Schools Minister said today that that was a decision for Heads.

Fudge.

We aren’t going in strike. We won’t need to. About the only thing that everyone agrees on with this virus is that it’s spread by prolong, close contact in enclosed spaces. That is the definition of a classroom. At the moment 1 in approx 1,900 have it. That rapidly increasing. Children are more likely to be asymptomatic. Most secondary school have about 1-1500 pupils so most secondary schools will have 1 infected person in school, in a classroom with no PPE and no social distancing. They will give it to the others in the class who I turn will give it to siblings at home. We’ll have all closed at least once by October/November.
