My two children received an invitation today to a three year old's birthday party.

At the bottom it states:-

Tickets £5 on the door ROAR

It is in a church hall. I don't know what entertainment/food is provided. We are fairly new to the area and not been to many parties so I have questions:-

Is it £5 for both my children?
Do I bring a present as well?
Shall I pretend I didn't see it?
Right of admission reserved?
This can't be normal, surely?

Sadly, I don't have any 30 year old friends who would consider that dressing as Thomas the Tank Engine and running round a church hall for three hours to be a good evening out

do you think it's a joke????
bit weird if you don't really know them that well though

They've lost the plot, simple as that. If the father plans events - it's clear - he's just gone into some bizarre work mode and not thought it through.

LOL at hte Right of Admission Refused - cloud cukoo land, they are.

Feck off I would say. Speak to the other parents and ensure you don't all just go because you don't want to be embarrised sp??.

My DD was invited to a party (no cost) but invites were done like a concert ticket and DD thought the celeb on the ticket was doing a concert for her freind.

Have they used an invitation with this already printed on it and forgotten to delete it?
