Would you call 111 after 1 time of blood in poo?

Hi

I've had Diarrhea this morning.

1st time no blood
2nd time lots of blood
3rd time no blood.

Would you bother calling 111 yet after only 1 bout or should I leave it a day or so?

Bloody hell at people saying dont bother if the blood is bright red

My dp ignored bright red bleeding from his bowel for nearly ten years! No other symptoms apart from the odd bout of diarrhoea.

Then he had a massive bleed similar to the op, went to the docs and then was referred cos they they though he had piles then on a sigmoidoscopy discoved a huge polyp near his anus. So we have had a year of uncertainty as it was that complicated he had to have surgery at a specialist hospital that deals with complex polyps and the surgeon said he was bloody lucky not to have had bowel cancer
So op get yourself to the docs and ignore posters that tell you that bright red blood is nothing to worry about!

So they called back and said it just sounds like a stomach infection and should last 6 to 12 hours so if I have any bleeding tomorrow then I should try and make an app for GP, but I dont need to do anything today
