I'm not sure if I'm being unreasonable or should stick things out for longer. I had new glasses a couple of weeks ago. I have quite strong prisms in my.glasses for a lazy eye.
I asked for two pairs of varifocals, one with anti-reflective coating for driving at night and one pair without.

When I got my glasses I didn't notice at first that they'd put the ar coating in the daytime ones instead (they were a different style of frame from the ones I want to use for driving). I 've been wearing the ones with the coating for a couple of weeks but I 'm sure the ones without the coating are clearer. It,'s ver slight but I'm sure the prisms either aren't the same on the ones either the coating, or the coating has made a difference to how the prisms work.
Husband says if its barely noticeable why moan about it, but he hasn't got to wear them. I'm taki ng them back to the optician in the week but wanted to know if anyone else has had a similar problem with prisms and ar coatings? Or am I making a fuss over nothing?

Sorry for the typos - typing on my phone with fat fingers but I hope people get the gist of the post 😁

I have quite a lot of prism in two directions and wear varifocals. In my experience, getting prisms right is tricky, and some frames seem to have an effect. So if you aren't happy, go back

AR coatings won't affect it.
They've possibly given you a different type/brand of varifocal.
I would much rather patients came back if they were having any kind of issue with their glasses.
