She was an amazing person who did so much for women. Any thoughts? I look forward to a lively (respectful) debate with you all

That's not sock puppeting, it's not realising the puppet fell off and then waving your bare hand all around in front of the audience while being all "That's the way to do it, boys and girls!"

Krelbydeepak · 27/07/2020 19:28

I agree. She was fine women who cared about the rights of sex workers.

OP posts:
Budapestpest · 27/07/2020 19:29

Who are you agreeing with op??

ClaryFray · 27/07/2020 19:30

Is it me or is OP talking to themselves?

Sex workers need more protection in law, they're trade needs to be legalised, and they need to be less stigma to protect these women.

Krelbydeepak · 27/07/2020 19:30

Yes. I agree! Grin

OP posts:
Krelbydeepak · 27/07/2020 19:31

Sorry. I add stuff when I think of it in my head, seems like talking to myself. Blush

OK....

KinkyFink · 27/07/2020 19:45

I'm baffled 😂

Thelnebriati · 30/07/2020 13:58

Someone break it gently to OP that Laura Lee died several years ago. In 2018. A woman with a similar name died a few days ago, but is not the same person.

Reading this thread is how I would imagine a time shift into another dimension feels like, baffling in the extreme.

ItsNotNormalLove · 30/07/2020 14:21

Well this was... interesting!

Thelnebriati · 30/07/2020 14:52

Remember that time a journalist accidentally pasted her editors instructions into her OP? It made Classics. Good times.

I'm so grateful that MNHQ considers "soon" to be nearly 3 days and counting.

Otherwise I would have completely missed the Frank Spencer of sock-puppeting. :o

Redyellowpink · 30/07/2020 16:19

You are BU to think that advocating for the decriminalisation of men who pay for sexual access to women's bodies is admirable.

Love it! 😂😂😂
DioneTheDiabolist · 30/07/2020 16:54

She advocated for the safety of sex workers. She, and other SWs in NI believed that changes to the law put them in a more dangerous position.

You may not agree with her stance, but she was certainly an admirable and formidable woman.
