To feel a bit sad and lost that we’ve broke up for summer?

Total whinge post sorry

I work so hard all year, count down to the holidays and then the summer comes along and I just feel so anxious and stressed. Is this even normal?!

I don’t know what to do with myself. I’ve done some online training tonight and might go into work Monday to sort some cupboards.

I have the gym booked over the weekend and my husband is around but the thought of him working from home and me “relaxing” seems totally unbearable. What even is relaxing and why do people like it so much?!!!

There are probably summer schools you could go to if you ‘need’ to do something. I’ve been busy with the garden so far, massive project which will take some weeks and a few skips!

Sounds like the whole coronavirus and lockdown could have stressed you out ? Try and chill a little bit and go with the flow of each day is my advice.

I’m in Scotland so now 2/3 of the way through. I think work was keeping me sane, and the things I normally do over summer are not really available in the way they usually are, or I am not 100% comfortable with them. The weather here has been awful too.

I will be glad to get back to work. I NEVER thought I would say that!

Any "projects you need to do in home or garden". (We just replaced the garden shed). Any hobbies you enjoy, drawing sewing?
Go on a bike ride, do an online course. Do you have children? Make a list of theings to do such as go on a picnic, go to a woods, learn a new skill?
