As above really. Going to see family next month and I suffer really awful periods which I will be due to start bang smack in the middle of the week we are going to be visiting. I've looked up norethisterone (sp?) but wondered if anyone here had tried it and tell me how they found it?

I didn't react well to the mini pill so maybe it would be better to go back on the combined pill?

I’ve used it five times now. No severe PMT. No bloating or period pain. No ill effects at all.

Except one time. Five solid days of period pain before it arrived (it’s meant to arrive the day after you stop taking them, it didn’t). Could have sat on a bucket. Was agony.

Wouldn’t put me off though when every other time was fine.

I've used it a few times. It always takes 2/3 days for my period to start when I stop taking it. Occasionally knocks my cycle out for a couple of periods, but nothing major.

I’ve uses it for holidays/special occasions for years.
Take it 3 days before your period is due. Only take it for the duration you need.
I never had any side effects at all, maybe a little bloated.

Used several times, no issues at all
