Yes I know, people should adopt, Don’t fund back yard breeders etc. And I’m no way buying a pet, but sometimes I like to have a mooch on pets4homes like I do on right move.

I can’t find one dog under 1k!! Labradors for £1.5k. Mixed breeds for a ridiculous amount.

Wtf? Do people really pay that much?

The cheapest dog in my area is a cocker spaniel for £1600.

Yes because of the increase and demand in dog prices there has been an increase in dog thefts where I live, the saddest one was two litters of puppies- one litter just 3 weeks old and they left the mum dog behind 😢 which is heartbreaking. The police have said ‘organised crime groups have exploited a surge in dogs and puppies due to Coronavirus and in turn a rise in prices.’
Whomever is taking these family dogs and puppies have no interest in their welfare, they are only interested in breeding them and pocketing the thousands of pounds they’ll make 🤬
