Had a sucky tummy and cramps until couple of hours ago. Had curry and beers last night so could be that. I'm now feeling tonnes better and STARVING. what should I have? I fancy chippy but is that madness? Chips and peas only is what I fancy. But maybe not sensible. Give me what you eat after dicky belly ...

Whatever you are craving is what your body needs to repair itself.
Have the chips, but maybe not the peas!

LunaLoveFood · 20/07/2020 18:39

Definitely eat what you fancy.

Oysterbabe · 20/07/2020 18:40

Your body knows what it wants so I'm sure you'll be fine. If I were you though I might splash out and try and have a nutrient today.

Bluesheep8 · 20/07/2020 18:40

You need bread op. Have a chip butty!

Ricekrispie22 · 20/07/2020 18:40

I don’t normally get sick, but my DH swears by spaghetti hoops on toast!

Spied · 20/07/2020 18:43

I came to say spaghetti hoops on toast with a sprinkle of cheese.
Always makes me feel better.

BeyondMyWits · 20/07/2020 18:46

Chip butty gets my vote. Plain stodge.

polkadotpjs · 20/07/2020 18:47

I had crumpets with peanut butter for brekkie and then the dicky tummy started mid morning. I could go chip butty but then maybe with a side of green steamed veg - I fancy cabbage and sprouts and those beans that look like a lattice when you buy them ready cut...runner beans?

NancyNoNickers · 20/07/2020 18:49

Gravy chip with peas and onions for sure, cures everything

XiCi · 20/07/2020 18:55

Yeah cabbage and sprouts will be just what your stomach needs after a curry and beer sesh GrinGrin. I hope some poor unfortunate isnt sharing a bed with you

excuseforfights · 20/07/2020 18:56

i'm having leftover chicken arrabiata but really fancy a mixed lamb and chicken doner grill with chips from my favourite Turkish doner shop. It's so unhealthy I haven't had it in 6 months.

polkadotpjs · 20/07/2020 18:59

I won't be having the greens don't worry Grin

I tend to eat what I crave when I've been sick. Normally salty crisps.

purplecorkheart · 20/07/2020 19:42

A noodle dish. I am craving a noodle dish from my local chinese restaurant but am on a diet. I am so tempted to order it but this month I have fitted into jeans comfortably that I haven't fitted into for 15 years. Please have noodles on my behalf.

polkadotpjs · 20/07/2020 19:59

Ooh Singapore noodles Oh. Curry though. Nope. 😷

I might start another AIBU - to LTB DH for going out doing his hobby (yes cycling) while I'm waiting for him for dinner. I said don't be all night but 2 hours later and he we are still waiting...

And the chippy was shut. McDonald's it was 😐. Starving so I ate it but his card is marked. Does he not realise the line in sickness and health refers to chippy runs, ensuring you are back from a bloody bike ride to get there in time. Pure selfishness 😂

A mug of tea and some hot buttered white toast if you haven’t eaten yet. Works for me. Grin

GracieLane · 20/07/2020 22:01

My favourite meal for a dicky tummy is Yorkshire puddings, green veg and instant beef gravy.

GracieLane · 20/07/2020 22:01

And a can of red coke
