Hotel House keeping?

If staying at a hotel but in a self catering building seperate from main hotel (but still belonging to the hotel) would you expect the bins to be emptied and fresh towels each day or no housekeeping services at all?
There are no washing machines available.

As others have said - hotels aren't doing daily room change unless asked. Part of managing transmission risk.

Maybe once or twice during a week’s stay (pre-COVID) but certainly not daily. And right now probably only on departure.

No, it’s self-catering so not part of the daily housekeeping routine. It’s the reason it’s called self-catering, you cater for yourself food and housekeeping wise.

I wouldn’t expect any sort of housekeeping in self catering accommodation. Fresh towels and bedlinen once a week but nothing else.

Actually it's nothing to do with housekeeping. It's about the cooking facilities. Incidentally lots of self catering accommodation across the works is still serviced by housekeeping. It isn't strange, it is simply a matter of checking what comes as standard when you make a booking.
