To think the NT need to reopen their houses.

They already have online booking systems, many houses already have a timed entry system. And they already have one way visitor routes. I don't know why it's taking so long!

(Disclaimer, I'm going on holiday next week and NT properties were a big part of my itinerary!)

We have been to all of our local ones within the last few weeks (they're aren't many, we've done one a week)

They each had at least one set of toilets open and last week the cafe was open for takeaway.

No mention of houses opening soon but if the previous tours we went on were anything to go by probably for the best as people couldn't follow simple instructions. Like not sitting on a 200 year old chair with historical importance or touching everything you see

I think it's a great opportunity for NT staff to talk less and instead leave more information out for us to read at our leisure.

Of course I'm happy to do other things. But I picked Cornwall specifically to see two properties!

I think the volunteer question may be the main reason.

Of course, if Mr Johnson had acted in early March, we would have had far fewer infections and deaths, and maybe more people would be willing to volunteer by mow.
