To ask fo ideas to replace the Ritz

We're going on holiday, booked pre covid. We're both 40 in next two weeks dcs never been abroad (8 & 10).we are staying in London for one day before heading off.
We are trying to do suo aoevosk things. We had planned o m going to the Ritz for afternoon tea, just gone too book and only slot left is 7.30pm. Not ideal.

Quick, any ideas for alternative, equally special things to do?

I do not like the Wolsey - the acoustics are v poor - v noisy.

Eating out - the original Hard Rock Cafe was a hit!
