I want to buy a 2 bed garden flat, £450-£500 max. Want to be somewhere nice, do no work to it, with good atmosphere and transport links to west end. Restaurants etc but equally not manic. Any suggestions?

Kew has bad airplane noise and so does Richmond but they are nice other wise. You may not hear the planes at the moment because many not flying.

If it’s just the two of you, maybe a one-bed would be fine? Location and a view / aspect can be more important. You could always have a sofa bed for occasional guests?
