just got much much much worse in the last 5 - 10 years?

or am I thinking far too simplistically about this?

i just mean in the way people treat / ignore each other; no support networks (apart from online) and thinking most people really to live to work not work to live (ie just survive) compared with life in the past where there was more balance.

And here's something else we need to worry about, for global politics

Deepfake technology and society

That is really interesting (and disturbing!) Guina.

Don't know what to do in my head with that kind of information.

Especially when my father (70s) just keeps telling to "shut up" - all generations had it exactly the same, you are just soft and stupid, how ridiculous, get off your phone, I remember in the 60s we hated our parents etc etc.

I just stay silent and say nothing. But I do know for a fact many many of my friends experience the exact same thing from their parents.

The "fake news" thing is a serious concern to me.
