@GotOutOfBedOnTheWrongSide

I think I'm going to start watching call the midwife! Maybe you could give it a go? If your into police things try line of duty on BBC iPlayer it's brilliant X
You won't regret it. I started a few weeks ago and already on season 5.
Caterinaballerina · 09/07/2020 15:50

@TeenPlusTwenties

I'm watching the reruns on ITV3 (or wherever they are). One episode a night on weekdays. It is better second time around as I can fast forward through the plotlines I don't like (namely the police/prison ones).
Same here!! I’m on third time of watching and dragging poor DH in with me! OP YANBU

I think I'm going to try Call the Midwife, too Smile

AiryFairy1 · 09/07/2020 17:21

Ahhh I might rewatch DA for the 4th time. It’s my favourite period drama.

My dm dragged me into Downton Abbey and I'm so glad she did ,I missed certain episodes due to work but have binge watched it on Netflix and watched the movie at the cinema with my neighbours ,I also bought my dm the dvd and had to buy myself a copy . She also dragged me into Call the midwife and a few other programmes

Foyle's War will fix you right up.

Ijumpedtheshark · 09/07/2020 19:11

On mat leave with DS I watched Downton Abbey then Call the Midwife.

shakeituntilyoumakeit · 09/07/2020 19:16

OP just start watching it all again, honestly it’s so interesting when you know the people more.

GabrielleChanel · 09/07/2020 19:23

I have watched all of call
The midwife

dancinfeet · 09/07/2020 22:01

yes, I have just watched all of Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes and was so sad when i had no more episodes to watch!

Rhubarbcrumblerules · 09/07/2020 22:06

Call the midwife is great. Recently powered through all 8 series of Doc Martin which I had never seen. Strange seeing the characters age over time in a matter of weeks. Gilmore girls was good too.

jessstan2 · 09/07/2020 22:09

I'm watching the entire series again; it's amazing what I missed first time around, love it. After I've finished I will watch the Downton film again.

A few weeks ago I binged on all series of 'Call the Midwife'.

Squirrelblanket · 09/07/2020 22:10

Loved Downton Abbey! I didn't watch it when it was actually on but a box set after. I've rewatched it since.

I'm seeing the film this weekend for the first time. Smile

TigerBilly · 09/07/2020 22:11

There was a similar thread last night which I also commented on, Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley) is in the new Eurovision film and he absolutely amazing in it. I don’t normally like Will Ferrell films but Dan Stevens steals the limelight

GabrielleChanel · 10/07/2020 08:49

Oh yes I also binged Gilmore Girls.
All 9 seasons of midwife are on iPlayer now
