To ask for something to play on my phone whilst bed bound

I've hurt my back so stuck in bed, mostly off my noggin on diazepam and naproxen so can't concentrate to read.

Any recommendations for decent, slightly absorbing games?

Plague Inc is absolutely amazing if you like strategy games. Also the settlers of catan which is an app version of a board game, totally addictive!

Piemam · 07/07/2020 20:15

Jigsaw. Easy and satisfying. The instant noodles of 'phone games.

saraclara · 07/07/2020 20:17

Wordscapes. I've been playing it throughout lockdown, and love it.

HansBanans · 07/07/2020 20:24

Another vote for Merge Dragons! I could play it for hours on end

amber763 · 07/07/2020 20:26

Hearthstone is good fun

GenghisCalm · 07/07/2020 20:28

Seekers Notes free and easy to play.

Tiny Bubbles. Wonderful game. I wish I hadn't finished it.

Can you escape the 50/100 rooms, by developer HKAPPBOND. There's a whole series of the games, they're pretty good for their type. And there are Youtube walkthroughs for most of the levels, if you get really stuck (a few of the individual puzzles are absolutely impossible).

Iwantacookie · 07/07/2020 22:38

Logic pic l can lose days on that. The new update today makes it even better than before.

burblish · 07/07/2020 22:43

I second the Delicious Emily series if you like time management games - there are loads of them to choose from.

Bluewavescrashing · 07/07/2020 22:52

Words with friends 2

I can't bear gardenscapes- it looks so stressful! Adverts keep popping up.

Tillygetsit · 07/07/2020 23:10

I'm obsessed with Home Designs. Puzzles then you do up rooms/gardens.

BoomShacks · 07/07/2020 23:32

Words with Friends. PM me if you want to play me!

TingTastic · 08/07/2020 00:08

Rainbow blocks is my old favourite tome filler. Had it for years and keep coming back when I need something that doesn’t require too much concentration!

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 08/07/2020 00:36

Wordscape (you get really good at anagrams to, so helpful if you play Scrabble!)

Disney Emoji Blitz. Very like Candy Crush, but you unlock emojis as you go, and can then use them as stickers in texts and messages.

MissEyelesbarrow · 08/07/2020 01:14

Slices - annoying adverts so need to play in plane mode.

Hay day is fab. I've been playing for years but trickier on a phone, iPad is best.

VanGoghsDog · 08/07/2020 01:40

Klondike is my current obsession.

Grown adults? Playing games? How unattractive.

(Sorry, I'm a gamer myself but how have we got to 4 pages without the usual crap Grin?)

ThreeLittleBirdz · 08/07/2020 02:27

SongPop 2 or Super Mario Kart are the only two games I have on my phone currently...both could easily pass some time. I suffer from ill health myself so I recently purchased a Nintendo Switch to pass some time during periods of ill-health and have become rather accustomed to Animal Crossing New Horizons Smile
