to wonder how many people are going to book a foreign holiday without checking about the requirements for quaranting on arrival

And without getting adequate insurance as it's not available for CV related issues

Looks like quite a few countries on the travel list are asking UK citizens to either quarantine on arrival or not admitting UK citizens at all.

And it looks like it's hard to get cover for holidays if you have a CV related issue either before or on holiday

Still - I am sure plenty of people will do the leg work, check the small print, check they have insurance before jetting off for a few weeks in the sun....

What is the thrust of the question in this post?

Or are you poking at people who you assume won't do the necessarily due diligence?

Just predicting the headlines and stories from people who book a holiday. get somewhere and aren't let in...or have to quarantine

Or people who get ill and then find their insurance doesn't cover it.

The country I'm flying to doesn't require quarantine. My travel insurance specifically covers Covid-19.

What others are doing isn't something I'm speculating about.

THIS.

That's good.

THIS

MN would be a very boring place if we didn't discuss things that might happen as policies change.

Many people will do I expect. Either because they never bother with such things, or because a holiday is something they are desperate for or really looking forward to.

I get where you are coming from OP. There will I assume be a flurry of people on MSE or on here complaining at some point that they didn't know they would have to sit in their hotel room for the whole of their holiday and/or there was a local shutdown and they couldn't fly back and their insurance didn't cover the higher costs of flights back.

It is all very weel to say that we can go to Australia and New Zealand. The fact is they have said we can't!
