Will you still buy stuff from Boohoo?

From recent article in The Guardian and other papers, it seems Boohoo have benefited from the scandal of low wag W work sears, some paid £3 per hour, in poor working conditions, forced to work even though they and others have the virus?

Seems totally unacceptable to me

This is the case for all mainstream clothing producers (etc).

Buy less stuff, and when you do buy it, get secondhand or GOTS organic (the standards cover labour and post-harvest as well as growing the cotton).

No
Disgusting

Absolutely not. I view Boohoo, Nastygal Prettylittlething the same way I view a £3 whole chicken. The price is that low for a reason.

And I used to love Oasis. Not a bloody chance now Boohoo own them

I'm gonna get flamed for this but...

They need to pay people rigby in Leicester and subject them to fair working conditions.

But, they also do provide a lot of distribution jobs here as well so if people stopped buying, people would lose their jobs and its a vicious circle.

If, people lost their jobs due to this then they would rely on fast fashion because of lack of money to clothes themselves.

If, people kept their jobs, they'd also be able to purchase more environmentally friendly fashion.

It's a vicious circle.

Right not rigby* stupid phone

The owners are now being investigated for human trafficking as well by the way.

I really hope this leads to change. A fair wage and decent working conditions isn’t much to ask for.
