Not everyone hates her. I don't hate her.
However if you look at the number of "negative" articles on her (news reports that have deliberately placed an opinion or an emotional slant on her activities - such as "scheming", "blocking friends", "avoiding her father") then it's easy to see how these articles stoke comments.
If someone reported her doing a charity activity, no slant or comment on it, the comments on Markle would eventually dwindle to a point where she is commented on occasionally, but no fervour.
There are PR people with vested interest in her playing this victim mentality so to speak, who actively encourage the negative stories and the thousands of hateful comments.
If you look at a Daily Mail article on Markle, it attracts on average around six to ten times the number of comments than any major news story.
I'm talking 800 comments for a big news piece on coronavirus, but 6500 (largely negative) comments on a Markle piece.
I don't think I'd particularly care for her if I knew her, so I'm not defending her. But I do think the narrative pushed around her is "she's a victim, she is universally hated on by all".
