To think I could be pregnant although I had a 'period'? Positive pregnancy test?

I know it sounds unlikely, but....

So, this months period is 3 days late. My cycles are normally 23/24 days long but I'm now on day 29 with no period in sight. I also have sore boobs and am urinating frequently, though I know these are also PMS signs.
I took a test the day period was due and it was definitely negative. Took another one today (not first morning urine) and got this... I can sorta see a second line but I don't know if it's an evap or a very faint positive!

The only thing is, Ive only had sex twice in the past five weeks, the most recent was six days ago so I cannot possibly be showing symptoms yet, and the other time was five weeks ago. I got what I thought was a period about a week or so after that. It was perhaps a bit lighter than normal but not different enough that it made me think it was anything other than a period.

Is it possible that it wasnt actually a period? I'm probably being ridiculous but I can see another line! Although I would think that if I'd conceived 4/5 weeks ago the line would be much much stronger?

I don't know, I'm really confused!

Can any of you see another line or am I utterly mad?

Sorry that test looks negative. FR have an indent line which can be seen where the positive line would appear with pink colour. I can see it in 2 of the pictures but no colour in it.

In my experience the line would be obvious for 4/5 weeks pregnant

I actually see two lines in the first picture.

It looks like a grey line instead of a pink one which would indicate an evaporation line x

When did you take the picture? Within 3 minutes?

You could be. I had a period then a smear all while I was pregnant - he’s now 9.

FR are buggers for indent lines IME.

My mum had "periods" when pregnant, she didn't realise she was pregnant until five months along because of it. However those lines look really faint. Have you done one today with FMU?

I'd get one of those that a toast says pregnant if you are.

If you conceived 5 weeks ago I'd imagine we'd all be able to see a line as it would be much clearer.

I had this happen where the egg just hadn’t implanted properly so I had my period but then tested positive after. It took two weeks for me to bleed again and this time it was a two week bleed that got rid of the tissue causing the HCG.

At the point you’re at you’d expect a line to be much darker than that. So I’d say no.

I see lines on your pictures but they look exactly like mine recently and I definitely wasn't pregnant because I got my period soon after.

I would say that I think it could be possible that you got pregnant from the sex that was 6 days ago or so. This is not a FRER of someone who is 7 weeks pregnant. That said, when I got pregnant with my last dc, I felt very pregnant (I know what it feels like, only felt that way twice before and both times I was pregnant), and I took one of these 12 days after ovulation. It was much more completely negative than that. I continued to feel really ill. Tested again 4 days later and it was a blazing positive. So I think it's possible, but very early. Have you taken another test? I think it would be obvious today or tomorrow either way.

It looks very faint so not possible to be last cycles conception as it would be darker by now (not unless you concieved last cycle and had a chemical pregnancy causing a very low amount of hcg to still remain) My bet would be you are pregnant and concieved 6 days ago, I had a line darker than that at only 9 days post ovulation so I think it's possible

Also boobs are still sore, but I've also been getting (TMI) loads of egg white like discharge. So now I'm thinking I possibly didn't ovulate this cycle, hence no period, but I now am? I don't know!

Yep those are some negative tests. You probably aren't pregnant and I'm sure your period will show up eventually.
