To think he has lost it?

Did anyone see Boris just now? I recorded it but it won't let me upload.

Anyway he said contract tracing about 30 times, couldn't get the words out.
It was funny at first but then it became increasingly obvious he couldn't speak.

Is this leftover corona stuff or has he completely lost it?

Almost like a robot glitch....

Cognitive problems are an issue for some after Covid 19.

I thought this the other day when he spoke. As someone said to me, if you were a pilot or surgeon, presumably you'd be signed off for some time after having the virus as he did as you'd be incapable of doing your job. The more we go on, I'm not sure he was ever capable.

Lindy2 · 03/07/2020 18:37

He got his words tangled at that point but the rest of the time he was perfectly clear and he spoke very competently in my opinion.

Everyone muddles their words sometimes don't they? I certainly do but I don't regard myself as having cognitive problems.

I thought he actually looked quite well today.

The only other similarly incoherent 'leaders' I can think of, off the top of my head are Reagan (dementia) and Trump (incredibly ignorant moronic twat).

No he has not lost it. To lose it you have to have it to begin with.

StudyBuddy · 03/07/2020 18:54

He has a neurological condition where the synapses in his brain work at a higher rate than the muscles in his mouth move (or something like that) which means his brain can work at a very high speed but his mouth isn't able to keep up with how quickly his brain is talking. His dad spoke about it on an interview a few years ago. Apparently Stephen Fry has the same condition but had elocution lessons.
I'd assume, as with a lot of neurological conditions, that it's worsened by stress. Having said that, mocking neurological conditions is fine as long as they're a Tory apparently.

I can't work out if that's satire or not studybud

Nor can I.
