To say no to Disneyland?

DH really wants to book Disneyland Paris for October. We'd be driving there and back but I just think it's silly. Both children are under 5 so it's not like they'd really really enjoy it and only watch the Pixar movies at the moment but anyway, more importantly, AIBU to say no? I just think it's silly, it might get cancelled, we might catch COVID-19, the hotels are very limited and the experience is limited in general. We have had a really tough year, I've lost a parent amongst other things. I think that we should wait until next year but he's really pushing the idea.

We went with 5 kids under 5 and they had an amazing time, there's loads for that age. Went on eurostar but definitely wouldn't drive.

However no way would I book for this year just in case, book for next year when you can. I have been October several times and its a good time of year to go.

it is a different experience at all ages. Watching my 2 yo run up and cuddle Donald Duck was just the loveliest thing but then going with them recently at 12 & 10 and rushing to the bigger rides over and over again was great. I have also been on an adult only trip which was amazing.

5 or 6 is a lovely age to go, check the website for the height restrictions if you are worried re rides but most of them are fine, the ones they are too small for they are unlikely to want to go on but even Tower of Terror is a low height limit so DS1 was about 6 when he went on that (and hated it mind you)

Plenty reasons not to go, yanbu but I don't agree with pp about weather. I've been in October half term and it was lovely weather most of the week.
