I was talking with some friends lately about how old we looked. I got a very wide age range! So we decided I would be brave enough to ask mumsnet!!! Go ahead - I won't be offended!

I'm 45 myself and would have said you were early 40s (but if you'd asked me in person I would have gone mid 30s in case I insulted you mentioning 40s!) but genuinely surprised you are 50. Mainly because you are pretty line-free (despite not looking remotely 'fake' or like you've had any help). Nice!

Honest to god, how bloody old are you lot to think a clearly middle aged woman looks 30. Is it like when policemen look younger as you get older. You are all fucking demented. I'm 37 and if I looked like OP I'd be pretty miserable.not saying you don't look good for 50 OP but nobody can really think you look 20 years younger than you are, nobody does, 5 or 6 at a push but not 20. I'm all for bigging up your mates but random strangers I think not. I despair of this place I really do.

No way would I have said 50. My eyes are so so hollow abs I’ve five years younger than me. I would have happily said 32.

Clearly op does look on the youthful side.
But part of that is down to the smile which automatically lifts the jawline and reduces or eliminates the saggy jowl effect.
Smartphone cameras usually smooth out skin tones etc.
The lighting has also made op's skin shiny.

Having said all that, I guessed 42

I looked at the photo and thought 27, purely due to complete lack of lines on her forehead. Very good skin and start of crows feet, I remember having very similar skin when I was 27. Also no grey hair, despite lockdown, so assumed was au naturel. I am 48 myself and usually good at working out ages of people but it's difficult when only having a snap of the face to go on. In any case, you look great for your age OP.

I guessed 46, looking very good for 46, but still 46 rather than 36 if that makes sense? I work with a few women in their 50s who have really beautiful skin and look great, but they look 50 rather than 30, but look better than a lot of 30 year olds...if that makes sense .
