My is hugely anxious and not sleeping well. If she could sleep, I'm sure it would help.

Which sleeping tablets are effective?

I recommend Dream Onn by Onnor

I agree with Phenergan tablets - they're slightly constipating so be aware. Not cheap but good value for 56 tablets (just over £8). I take one 2 nights a week and sleep a solid 8 hrs, total bliss.

Nytol gives me awful nightmares that I struggle to wake up from and then feel really anxious. Be careful with them.

I tried Nytol one a night two weeks ago and found it worked well. Bought them from Boots and i was warned to be careful. Only needed the one pill so far. I bought a Kalms one as well but havent tried it yet.

I used to be on Zopiclone on and off for ten years. Got off them three years ago.

I take a Piriton occasionally ,it is the only thing that does not make me feel vile the next day.

Have tried Phenergan,Nytol (both types),Melatonin,Valerian tea, they all work for me,but cannot stand feeling hungover the next day.

I always use This Works deep sleep pillow spray.

A piriton and a couple of ibuprofen / paracetamol often helps me sleep
