A cosy flat
Clean washing drying on the rack - nice clothes for my kids to wear and makes the whole flat smell like Fairy
Just enough money that I could order a takeaway for one tonight 😋
I found a new series on the TV that I enjoyed
Hearing my daughter make her baby brother laugh
That the play parks are opening soon, my daughter is really happy about that

How about you? :)

Having today off work so I can enjoy the heat rather than endure it!

Kermitsbiggestfan · 25/06/2020 14:08

My lovely friends, my lovely neighbours.
A fridge and cupboards full of food.
I never forget how lucky we are.
The sunshine today. Lunch under the sun umbrella in the garden.
I've had a crappy time for the past few years and today I'm really happy.

comingintomyown · 25/06/2020 14:09

Hearing I will be going back to work soon
My beech hedge
My happy DS humming to himself
Nice dinner to look forward to

I’m really lucky

DysonFury · 25/06/2020 14:11

Sunshine
My exes cock
School having reopened
My dog
Abundant food and alcohol.
Health

C0ncentrated20 · 25/06/2020 14:13

A job, able to pay bills
Family & friends
Health
Having very little to complain about, under the current circumstances

Pascha · 25/06/2020 14:14

Being able to enjoy the heat by not having to be out in it.

WanderingMilly · 25/06/2020 14:23

I am so, SO grateful for so many things.....

For being able to get out of a foreign country just before lockdown, and get back to the UK.
For some work as soon as I arrived (although I've been furloughed ever since!!)
For coming through having the coronavirus, it wasn't nice but I didn't need to go to hospital...but I am so grateful for our NHS. It is a wonderful safety net, not available in many countries...

Today I am particularly grateful for my air conditioners which have been keeping the apartment cool.
For the country lane which I walked down at 6am this morning!
For the fact I'm managing to cope with the heat (which I don't really like!)

HUCKMUCK · 25/06/2020 14:32

@BabyMoonPie Liverpool have just won 4-0 football - CP Fan here - well played - I shouldn't have been so smug when we won against Bournemouth!

I am grateful for having my lovely DD living with us at the moment, she is back from Uni (just finished final year) and moving out again in August but it's been so lovely having here here for a while.

I am grateful for the NHS hospital that has been looking after my Mum - she had a stoke last week and has just come home.

Grateful for my DS who deigns to come out of his room and have dinner with us.

My Lovely DH who is always telling me how great I am!

And I LOVE this weather so super grateful for that this week.

A small but cosy room, that I have made homely and inviting. It is peaceful too and feels like a sanctuary.

A load of washing hanging up that makes the room smell nice, like you OP.

A fridge full of nourishing and delicious food. This is no small thing

Part 4 of a 5 part DVD series I'm massively into has just arrived through the letterbox this morning and I can't wait to watch it this evening .

WendyHoused · 25/06/2020 14:37

5 loads of washing on the line
(Yes, including the bedding)
A hedgehog spotted in the garden
Sweet peas in bloom

NeedToKnow101 · 25/06/2020 16:31

That I'm lying under this tree in this beautiful park and have this great view of London looking amazing.

My son, partner and friends.
The weather including the lovely breeze.

Tummy is full.
My portable wine cooler, which today has water in a wine bottle in it!

My health.

A loving husband and family.
Good friends
Stable mental health
Good physical health
We both have secure jobs
A roof over my head
A fan downstairs
The ability to get pregnant.

You really don't realise how lucky you are in life compared to the difficulties some people face, and the horrific conditions some people have to endure. It's good to recognise it, puts life into perspective.

BabyMoonPie · 25/06/2020 19:46

@HUCKMUCK I hope your mum is on the mend (I'm not going to apologise for the result - the win was deserved ;-) )

MrsGrindah · 25/06/2020 22:47

After reading another thread...I’m so grateful I don’t have noisy neighbours. You could hear a pin drop around here and I know now how rare that is.

Sparklesocks · 25/06/2020 23:32

Not travelling on a tube or a train today for work!
Having a week off next week to recharge.
I had a nice dinner.
My friends and family are healthy.

CaptainCarp · 26/06/2020 08:31

@LadyPrigsbottom

I have bed sheet envy CaptainCarp GrinEnvy.
It's definitely different to tumble dried sheets or even dried inside!

I really need to set up a washing line though so I can dry them all at once. Luckily yesterday was so hot it dried in no time Grin

WendyHoused · 26/06/2020 17:12

This thunder storm

It’s wonderful

seenbeensbean · 26/06/2020 21:14

I wish we had a thunderstorm, I'd be thankful for it because next door would go inside instead of playing music in their garden and having their bloody dogs yapping since 3pm this afternoon.

saltycat · 26/06/2020 21:18

Lovely thread amidst all the doom and gloom and all the rest of it during this Covid.

I can only say that I am happy to have a big garden, in a big city, it saved me. A full freezer, a full fridge, and a loving family. Even though I haven't seen them face to face for ages.

Count your blessings. This too shall pass.

cocoaclown · 26/06/2020 21:47

My lovely colleagues who have been stars the last few months, I've worked with them for a short time and yet they have been so supportive when I've been coming to terms with my Dad dying.

CrowdedHouseinQuarantine · 26/06/2020 21:47

its friday,
i have chocolate torte a plenty
wine

CrowdedHouseinQuarantine · 26/06/2020 21:48

my friends and family are healthy. i have lost no one to covid 19, despite my immense anxiety in March.

Royalbloo · 26/06/2020 21:49

Me and DD laughed at a video of boomfy Pandas for about 30 mins (try it, they're brilliant).

Then I found a fiver on the floor...

Not so bad!

EttaJames29 · 26/06/2020 21:51

Love reading all the responses :)

I've had a really nice day today

Grateful that my son napped in his pushchair for 2.5 hours, I managed a lovely walk in to town and a look round the shops in peace. Haven't been in so long
Just enough pennies to buy a few bits of tat in Primark
I've lost a couple more lbs
I love my flat even though it is a bit old and shit by most people's standards
My kids love it too and are happy.

:)
