If you live in the West Midlands are your 3-6yo's in nursery / school and when do you finish up for the summer break?

My year 1 is at school in Birmingham and I'm pretty sure summer holidays start w/c 20th July.

birminghamquestion · 24/06/2020 21:13

Thanks, are they back full time along with the rest of their class?

No my 4 year old is not back at nursery (No space available) we are both working in key worker roles on the government's list. My year 7 and year 9 are obviously at home anyway as those years aren't back.

D4rwin · 24/06/2020 21:41

Finish on 17th for all.

munchbunch12 · 24/06/2020 22:05

My Reception DC breaks up on 17 July. Only Reception are in school, along with keyworker and vulnerable children. Reception children can attend Mon to Thur. Keyworker and vulnerable children can attend Mon-Fri.

4 year old not in nursery school. It's closed to all except years 1,5 and 6. Won't be opening for the rest until Sept.

Boobahs · 24/06/2020 22:13

Meant to say we're in Dudley.

Daisychainsandglitter · 24/06/2020 22:19

Mine is back 5 days a week but was attending 3 days a week previously as she has an EHCP. In her year out of 60 children approximately 30 are attending some of which are on a part time basis but not many. The older children in her year are now in a bubble of 10 with one of the year 2 teachers. The others including my DD are in their class bubbles of 10 children per class.

The West Midlands covers lots of different LAs - if you want term dates, you'd be better looking on the LA website (or your own school website)
