To expect to be able to cancel this

I have a holiday booked (UK, park resort) for the 13th of July. I've not had any contact about it but apparently the park is due to reopen on the 6th of July. The website states that not all facilities will be open.
Aibu to expect to be able to get a refund or to move my holiday? I don't want to go and be cramped in the few facilities that will be open, a lot of shops in the area won't be open (I assume) and I'm expecting that the beach be busy which normally wouldn't be a problem but in the current circumstances it's not ideal!!
I know the holiday park can't help the situation but I don't think it's right that it seems they aren't allowing refunds if your holiday is after July 6th.
What are my rights?

Sounds like a few assumptions there. Have you asked them whether you can cancel or move it?

Contact the resort and say that you are not able to travel yet as you are still isolating and that you would really appreciate it if they would be will to let you reschedule. Be nice to them instead of worrying about your rights, because they are open then your rights are likely to be very few.

If the holiday park is open, albeit with restrictions, then you won't have any right to a refund. The holiday park may let you change the dates to sometime in the future though

Park resorts (Shark resorts) camber sands is a firm no to refunds - they cover things by stating that the contract of booking outlines that some facilities may not be available (standard blurb) and use this to cover themselves....good luck

Yes a few assumptions but it's just the way the website is written. It's very abrupt about cancellations generally. I definitely intend on speaking with them first and asking politely what my options are, I just wanted to know where I stand on my rights just in case.
I'd be happy to move it but I think realistically I'd want to be looking at next year. I'd rather have a refund so that I can rebook when the situation is better but I know that what I'd rather doesn't really come into it

@Longtimelutker2019 oh that doesn't sound promising then! Hopefully they'll let us move it instead

Agree with PP- the park will probably state that you’ve paid for your accommodation and the facilities are no extra charge and not included in this price, so you won’t be able to have a refund for that. Definitely worth checking about a change of dates though.

I just think it's crazy that you can't go to your families house but you can use a caravan that someone else has just left. I'll keep my fingers crossed that we can move it
