Anyone know of someone who is a DIY/handyman in London?

AIBU to think that £150 a day for a bit of sanding and painting is a bit steep?

Buy cheap buy twice.

You’re not just paying for what they are doing, you’re paying for a good job. My dad is a builder/decorator/handyman. I still can’t get to his level of work and I’m his daughter who he has taught a few things to over the years. We’ve painted our own rooms before and it’s fine, in my new house only my dad is doing it because I want perfection (we still pay him but cheaper of course). Even sanding down woodwork/walls and the painting itself is hard work. I did it once hungover and painted a room 39 weeks pregnant...hard work!

£150 day rate in London sounds normal.
