I know this has been done and apologies in advance, but this is a fairly specific question.

4 year old birthday party (if it's able to go ahead in late November).

I'm getting fancy bobbles and hair clips as a fun but practical party bag favour for the girls..... Any idea what the male equivalent could be?

There may not be a male equivalent as all the things I can think of would be equally enjoyed by all but I just don't want it to be plastic tat for the bin, the hair stuff felt fairly practical as well as fun.

Thanks!

I agree on the boys and girls bags by the way. My son much prefers glitter and pink to footballs and superheroes.

Have a look on Amazon if you Google party bag things loads come up
I use to get my son's all from there. Wilkos BM etc have some good stuff . When son was 10 I just gave them all a box Maltesers and a cup cake.

At that age my son loved a pull-back car.

The party bags I did for DS’s 4th birthday party just before lockdown were a hit. I had over 30 kids coming (all of nursery class!) so needed it to be not too expensive. I ordered:

Sweets (2 or 3 drumstick lolly, maom, refresher etc)
A balloon each
2 sheets of bubble stickers
Bouncy ball (never met a 4 year old who doesn’t enjoy a bouncy ball)
Novelty shaped rubbers
Stacking coloured pencil

All bulk bought from amazon and worked out to about £1 per bag in the end.
