Yes I do

RedHelenB · 18/06/2020 23:13

Yes because he's a cutie and most children like to stroke him.

MaHeidsGouping · 18/06/2020 23:15

Yes I do, mine is still a puppy so I can't avoid people. I'm more than happy for people to come and make a fuss of him.

Mrsmchammer · 18/06/2020 23:19

I sure do. And I happily stroke other peoples dogs too. It is very calming. Our dog loves it also.

Dellow · 18/06/2020 23:25

Only if they ask and are calm adults, I usually refuse young children as my dog only likes adults and is easily worried by children throwing themselves at her enthusiastically. She’s also offended by white trainers Confused.

LovingLola · 18/06/2020 23:28

Prior to Covid I was often asked and always said yes.
Since March I haven’t been. If I was asked I would say no.

Runbitchrun · 18/06/2020 23:29

No, because he doesn’t like strangers. I have, however, asked others if I can strike theirs since the pandemic and they’ve all said yes.

Runbitchrun · 18/06/2020 23:30
  • stroke not strike
Nanalisa60 · 18/06/2020 23:31

Yes because she likes people.

BojoKilledMyMojo · 18/06/2020 23:32

Yes, as long as she's happy to be stroked as she can be a bit timid with strangers.

Pipandmum · 18/06/2020 23:33

Sure. They are stroking the dog, not me. One dog is generally off leash and the other one extended so I'm still 2m apart.

Swirlyceiling · 18/06/2020 23:34

Prior to COVID if people asked, the answer was yes if they didn't mind him getting excited (he will spin in a circle and roll on his back for tummy rubs).

With COVID, no. It is actually ideal for training, as not everyone that walks by is a meet and greet.

GazeboParty · 18/06/2020 23:37

A paramedic in uniform asked if they could say hello I said yes but I didn’t expect the touching thing - he was wiped down when we went home.
