Fine yesterday, not a sniffle, yet today has been bloody awful, think constant nose blowing and my eyes looking as though I've been crying all day :-(

Anyone else suffering? And what are your go-to remedies? (I'm in the North West btw).

Also when you get that horrible state where you think your face and scalp are on fire lather on aloe Vera gel, it’s really soothing when even a cold compress does nothing.

I'm on Fexafenadine on prescription and it's slightly better than over the counter antihistamines but I'm still very uncomfortable and not sleeping. I sneezed so violently so many times the other week that I grazed my throat. I could see a lesion when I shone a torch down it. Really painful... And I was teaching all day so constantly using my voice 🤧😣😤

That nose lining spray that used to be called prevalin and is now something like beconose defence makes life worth living for DH. It is no use at all to DS1, who is on benedryl and beconase steroid nasal spray.

Loratidine works for DH and DS2, Cetirizine for DS1.

It's ridiculous!

Yes, horrible for me today too. The only thing which works for me is Atarax, I have to get it on prescription. And Optrex eye drops - i keep them in the fridge and it makes them more soothing.

Piriton for children, or the generic chlorphenamine tablets.
