My puzzle is full of boobs

Bought a gorgeous puzzle of London that includes lots of feel good symbolism including Mary Poppins, buses, taxis, the London marathon, fish & chips etc. but every woman (apart from Mary) has a ridiculous set of boobs.

AIBU to be completely puzzled that Mike Jupp / Gibson's puzzles this this is ok?

I’d not be keen on that one either. I wonder if it’s an old design that’s been re-printed, it’s got a rather old fashioned look to it.

Gross. Mind you, I've just watched 5 mins of some 'sporting' programme presented by 2 lads and a large pair of boobs. Live, tonight. Good to see sexism is alive and well.

PS it’s very seaside postcard, of an era, but having said that, it wasn’t just young women who had the massive tits, it was all women.

You are missing the point totally. It’s about the representation of breasts. In this puzzle they all look pneumatic and ultra bouncy and that isn’t the nom.

@Moonmelodies - you are being deliberately goady. It’s clear what OP meant. YANBU OP. This sort of thing is the type of everyday sexism that leads women to say things like “it’s just the style” or “ there’s lots of stuff to get in a tizz about”. It’s not a race to the bottom FFS.

I’m surprised the black woman in the last one is running with a spear or with a necklace of teeth - but hey ho, it’s just sea side humour so perfectly acceptable

Exactly what you think. One of the only 4 or so PoC (all men) is standing at the corner, monitoring the transaction.

Another (bus conductor?) is strangling a traffic warden.

Really wish I'd not clicked on this, as I have that puzzle - was given it as a gift - and have done it a few times and never noticed as don't tend to look at the people - I use the buses/cars/signs/skyline/etc to do the puzzle I suppose, as the people are pretty small on it, I'm going to have to give it away now because I can't unsee that.

Very sexist. At least two of the women in the pics you've posted have men ogling them, the second seems to be being chased by one. Is it a new puzzle or is it from 1988?
