I’m a bit of space geek so love what he’s done with SpaceX, however he’s devoid of charisma. He’s not even smooth when presenting, although it does make it more accessible in a way and shows him as very into all the detail. I think he has kids with ASD so may have traits too (we are an ASD family before anyone strikes me down). All the personal life stuff is very off putting, as a person to admire, not fancy. It shows that people can do amazing things and be complete bastards in other ways. Drugs may be a big part of his arsehole behaviour. I hope this girlfriend keeps him in check. I don’t get the impression he’s heading for Bond villain status, electric cars is a worthwhile pursuit to reduce carbon emissions after all.
