A friend got me thinking about cartoon characters they fancied. I have a crush on Aladdin, always liked Fred from Scooby Doo, particularly more recently the square chin he has in Be Cool Scooby Doo. Am I alone, or has anyway else got a cartoon crush?
Yanbu - I also have a cartoon character crush
Yabu - How could you fancy a cartoon character?

Disney's Robin Hood is a hard one for me because I was teased mercilessly for it at school. The other girls loved Mark Owen and Robbie Williams and I said I fancied Robin Hood.

Also Kristoff with his beautiful voice.

OneStepOneStumble · 07/06/2020 22:10

Thank god PPs have mentioned fox from animals of farthing wood. I really thought I was alone in that Blush

CornedBeef451 · 07/06/2020 22:12

Bugs bunny!

MintyCedric · 07/06/2020 22:19

Flynn Ryder, Kristoff & The Beast.

When I was a kid I had a thing for Bumblelion from the Wuzzles Blush

VideographybyLouBloom · 07/06/2020 22:22

I’m with the PP who said Eric the Cavalier from Dungeons and Dragons but I also had it bad for Hank the Ranger.

ClosedTheBlueEyes · 07/06/2020 22:24

Legolas from the original animated Lord of the rings

Mummadeeze · 07/06/2020 22:25

Ha ha, I thought I was a weirdo for fancying the fox from Robin Hood... it would seem not! Good to know.

MrsAvocet · 07/06/2020 22:26

Hiccup in the last How to Train Your Dragon film.

ChloeCC · 07/06/2020 22:28

This is so funny. Top Cat. God. That's embarrassing. I also have one now (I'm 41). Maui from Moana. It's desperate times.

ILikeyourHairyHands · 07/06/2020 22:33

Definitely agree with Howl Hooman.

Barabajagal · 07/06/2020 22:34

Doesn’t anyone else fancy Shredder from tmnt?

pinkstar01 · 07/06/2020 22:34

Dmitri from Anastasia!

Iseeareddoor · 07/06/2020 22:37

My sister had a crush on Bart Simpson and I could never get my head around it. I can’t believe there are so many of you weirdos out there!

LavenderLilacTree · 07/06/2020 22:38

He-Man

1000mangoesinabirthdaycake · 07/06/2020 22:39

Can't believe only two people have said Li Chang from Mulan. Also the beast, but I would totally do chewbacca if we were talking Star Wars, so there's a theme going there!

CakeCakeCake21 · 07/06/2020 22:43

Another one for Eric from Dungeons and Dragons - I thought I would be the only one!

CakeCakeCake21 · 07/06/2020 22:44

Oh, and Hiccup. I haven’t seen Howls Moving Castle but definitely fancy him in the books.

Spacecudet · 07/06/2020 22:52

@Barabajagal "Shredder"!!!! Shock

Didn't realise I had so many cartoon crushes...
Mark from Battle of the Planets,
Robin Hood the fox
Aramis from Dogtanian
Cat Noir from Miraculous (no-one else?!)
and quite a soft spot for Maui too

englebertsausagedog · 07/06/2020 23:41

I also had a thing for Aramis from Dogtanian.
Batfink was appealing

But Tygra from Thundercats was my fave. Maybe it was the whip Blush

probably nobody know what i am talking about and its outing if my sister is on here but mine isnt a cartoon it was robin from the old 50s tv series version of batman... i was convinced i would marry him when i grew up lol.

ClosedTheBlueEyes · 08/06/2020 00:05

Oooh, Justin from the animated film version of Mrs Frisby and the rats of NIMH

PrivateSpidey · 08/06/2020 00:27

Batfink was appealing
Grin
He was!

Topcat also had a certain je ne sais quoi.

Also agree re Shere Khan - he was voiced by George Sanders, which goes a long way towards explaining his appeal IMHO.

More recently, I'm v fond of Peter B Parker in Into the Spider-Verse - the rumpled, jaded hero with an amazing jawline. Sigh.
