Hi, this is freaking me out but friend is making me panic. Last two months I've had regular periods etc but I have had nausea for about 5 months. For 2 months, I keep feeling (and you can physically see it) what looks like a baby move. Like kicking etc. Mainly at top of stomach but happened at bottom and side a few times. I cannot be pregnant with periods can I? I've tested and it's negative so AIBU to rule out pregnancy? TIA

Well I'm really hoping they find out whats going on for you.

Tini17 · 07/06/2020 21:51

Past a certain point tests are negative anyway - the hook effect...
Good luck tomorrow, hope they find out what is going on.

No point testing as if you are 5 months it would show negative anyway
People always trot this out and it’s rarely true, the overwhelming majority of women would still get a glaring positive.

Icanflyhigh · 07/06/2020 23:25

No idea, but I'm glad you're going to get it checked out x

Gin4thewin · 07/06/2020 23:33

I get phantom kicks sometimes but the movement one is definitely unusual. Good luck for tomorrow x

Yes, I tested positive throughout my twin pregnancy up to 7 months (it was my first, high risk but longed for pregnancy and I was constantly worried)
AKissAndASmile · 07/06/2020 23:42

Why do you test every month despite having periods? This suggests you're very paranoid about getting pregnant, which begs the question why you are using withdrawal as a form of contraception

copperoliver · 08/06/2020 00:02

You may just be producing too much acid in your stomach. X

When I had an infection in my small intestine my tummy was moving like there was a baby in it. I also felt constantly nauseous like I was pregnant. I got pregnant shortly after I finished treatment and felt the same!

SucksToBeYouHun · 08/06/2020 09:01

Good luck!

Ohnoherewego62 · 08/06/2020 09:10

Did you have nausea throughout your other pregnancies? Does this movement feel the same? Do you look like you have a bump? Hopefully the GP will be able to tell you what's going on although bloods may take a few days to come back.
