AIBU to ask what day you would all consider the ‘first day’ if your period?

Hey all.

So need some advice.

What day would you consider the 1st day of your period? I am starting clomid and need to take it on the 2nd day of my period.

At the moment (sorry for TMI) I have aches and brown blood very very light. Is this classed as the first day?

Or tomorrow when I bleed heavier and it’s red?

When I was having fertility treatment (including Clomid) I was told not to count spotting, first day was proper red flow

Was told by a fertility clinic first day is the first day with full flow. Good luck on the clomid
