To want to finish my sentences

DP starts talking before I've got my last word out. Infuriating. Particularly when he's interrupting me to explain what I was just telling him.

Did the middle of my sentence interrupt the start of yours?

I had a stbexh just like this. He talked non stop and if I dared to try and interrupt he would just take over. I could never finish my sentence. He's the now stbexh (waiting on the divorce) for a a reason.

Every time he does it, stop talking, say "Please could you let me finish my own sentences" and go back and finish off what you were saying - ideally using different wording to his. Eventually the penny will drop.
