To sneak out in the dead of night and nab some abandoned plant pots?

It's a closed down (permanently, pre-COVID) care home nearby which is going to be redeveloped into some flats at some point. There are quite a few empty plant pots in the front drive area. I would imagine they'll be chucked in a skip when the developers start (they're not particularly fancy or ornate) and I would like to give them a home and make use of them. Would it be really skanky to nab them for my garden? Technically stealing, I know, but they've been abandoned for months.

Do it!!! Those plants have fought to grow and thrive and they deserve a happy life. Makes me sad to think about them being left to die.
Revive them, enjoy them and let them be a reminder that you helped make something beautiful grow during a really bleak time.

the cost of skips they may well be happy you -f- -Ilche--d- took it. As long as it is in the skip & not next to it because they might be saving it for someone else

how do you do cross thru???

Do it. It's not really any different to nabbing something from a skip - technically illegal, in reality it's recycling and freeing up space in the skip.

Ok, will have balaclavas and ninja outfits at the ready. Thanks for all the opinions.
