To object to the way the BBC operates?

I have subscriptions to Netflix and Disney Plus, total cost £10.98 per month, kids happy, I dont watch much tv. I dont want BBC at over £15 a month.

The BBC seem to have real issues accepting I dont need a license. Every so often I receive a demand to buy a license in the post. Each time I tell them I dont need one. They list all the repercussions of not having a license, make clear they can send inspectors etc.

They 'require' my name and an email address for my official declaration that I need no license, I'm not allowed to exempt myself otherwise Confused. I make the declaration but they still contact me hassling.

Why cant the BBC just operate like Netflix, Amazon etc and stop hassling people? Make it a subscription service, you opt in and pay or you are presumed not needing a license. It might seem like a small issue, but their attitude and demands are not pleasant and could be quite intimidating to vulnerable.
