Pregnant with first baby, I'm due a week today.

Every day for the past 2 weeks my partner and in laws kept asking if I'm getting any twinges, then acting really pissed off when I say no.

I get there excited but I'm not even at my due date yet.

I've been doing hypnobirthing to ease my anxieties around childbirth and she stayed herself that I shouldn't rely on baby coming on or before due date as it can cause stress. Partner knows this because I've mentioned it, dp has no interest in actually doing the hypnobirthing with me as suggested.

I'm sick of it, I'm sick of the telephone calls and the questions. Why can't I just be allowed to enjoy the last week or 2 of pregnancy.

Now dp is sulking because I've told him to stop banging on.

Maybe I am grumpy but it's all day every day, telling me to do this, do that to encourage labour. SIL ringing to ask if I've gone for a walk and if not, why, dp passing me raspberry fucking leaf tea throughout the day.

I stopped a answering the phone with hello And switched to...I’m still pregnant or no I’ve not had him.

What about a group whatsapp? Make the title a bit arsey and the first post about how you understand how excited everyone is and you are too but you're trying to just stay calm in the run up. That baby is happy where they are and will arrive when they are ready. You will not be asking for interventions before hand. Then mute the group and let dh take it all. I had this with my first and second so with my third we just said they end of X month)

Meant to add I did end up going over with dc3 but I'd made such a racket beforehand about not asking me or announcing my news before me that no one bothered

YANBU. I’m due in two weeks, not my first. I’m so over literally everything at this point lol. Everyone is annoying me, everything is annoying me. I’ve started turning my phone off for large chunks of the day but I live with four kids, my OH although he’s still in work for now, and four very vocal and needy cats. No one leaves me alone for a minute, someone’s always touching me, talking to me, climbing on me, crying for me (and only me, Ofc no one else will do 🙄)

I can’t cope with the two sets of parents and my ILs and everyone else aswell. My mates have been posting memes on my fb wall too, “feet tapping, we’re waiting” type things so I’m also off there atm. I get everyone is bored and more invested in this than they would be under other circumstances but honestly, will you all just fuck off!!!

I hope your little one doesn’t leave you hanging on to meet them for too much longer
